I am a Senior Solicitor in the Industrial Disease Department at Greenbank Lawyers, with over 32 years of experience representing clients in a broad range of complex industrial disease and personal injury cases. Since qualifying in 2003, I have acted on both high-value and more modest claims — always with the same commitment to ensuring each client receives the highest level of care and attention.

For the past 20 years, I have specialised in Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) compensation claims, building extensive expertise in this area alongside broader industrial disease matters.

Outside of work, I enjoy a variety of sports including five-a-side football, golf, and walking. I’m also a long-suffering Middlesbrough FC supporter — a passion that occasionally calls for a well-earned beer or glass of wine.

Outside of my professional life I enjoy travelling and I enjoy various sports - now mainly from the sidelines!

I find that most of my time outside work is taken up spending quality time with my family.

My name is Lily Dowling, and I currently work as a paralegal at Greenbank Lawyers. I recently completed my LLB in Law with Criminology at the University of Salford. This is my first position in the legal field since graduating, and I’m eager to develop my skills and expand my knowledge as I work toward my goal of becoming a Solicitor. I have also contributed extensively to charity work, including volunteering with Citizens Advice Bureau and supporting vulnerable adults. Outside of work, I love traveling and exploring new cultures. Some of my favourite destinations so far have been Budapest and New York.

I am a Solicitor currently working within the Occupational Disease Team, where I am committed to delivering a high standard of legal service and supporting clients with care and professionalism.

After completing my undergraduate law degree at the University of Salford, I completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, further developing my legal knowledge and practical skills. Outside of the office, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym and I am currently building up the courage to take on my first marathon. I am also a dedicated Formula One fan—race weekends are a highlight that can either make or break my mood!

With over 20 years of experience in the legal profession, Beverley is a dedicated and highly skilled legal secretary who has built a strong career supporting solicitors across a wide range of legal areas. Since entering the field shortly after college, she has provided expert administrative and case management support on matters including Road Traffic Accidents (RTA), Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) claims, criminal cases, and family law.

Known for her attention to detail, reliability, and calm under pressure, Beverley plays a key role in ensuring legal teams operate efficiently and clients receive timely, well-organized support.

After having completed my LLB undergraduate degree at the University of Central Lancashire, I am currently pursuing the LPC/LLM at The University of Law. I’m enthusiastic about beginning my training contract alongside my studies, with the goal of qualifying as a solicitor.

I’m a Consultant Solicitor with over 10 years’ experience, specialising in housing disrepair cases for the past five.
